The Good Lovelies are always a blast to work with. I brainstormed the idea with Matt and we finally came up with the idea that the Lovelies would be like flowers. I styled the girls with some of my personal collection of vintage and also stumbled upon a Victorian Wardrobe sale in the east end ( I love when things time out so magically). I wanted their name on the cover to be 100% original. Sometimes using a font just doesn't cut it. So I bought a ton of rope and dirt and spent the day outside with a couple beers spelling out their name and photographing it. This was the best version.
There is also a booklet with all their lyrics inside that flows with the sky theme.
I was really happy with this art, and for them for winning a Juno for this album. Go girls!
